Geneva Launches New Recycling and Trash Services

The City of Geneva and Town of Geneva are now offering recycling and trash services at the Resource Recovery Park, located at 45 Doran Ave in Geneva, NY. The park is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an attendant available during these hours.

Residents of both Geneva City and Town can use the site for recycling and disposal of residential materials. The facility accepts food waste, yard debris, trash, recycling, and metals. Electronics and large residential items such as furniture are not accepted. The service is not available for commercial or business waste.

The recycling service costs $20 per calendar year. For trash, residents can purchase punch cards for $75, which include 52 punches, with each punch allowing for two 30-gallon bags. City residents should obtain a recycling sticker and trash punch card from City Hall's City Clerk's Office. Town residents can obtain their materials from Town Hall.
