**Akron Kicks Off Black History Month With Community Engagement**

The City of Akron, Ohio, has officially launched its Black History Month celebrations, encouraging community participation throughout February. According to the Mayor’s Office via their Facebook page, the city invites residents to join the celebration on social media as they highlight notable Black Akronites and Black-owned businesses.
