The Akron Area YMCA held its annual Christmas meeting Wednesday with its leadership staff. At the event, the organization recognized its achievements for 2025 and discussed plans for 2026. The International Soap Box Derby from Akron, Ohio, made an appearance and hosted a racing demonstration during the meeting. In addition, the YMCA recognized individuals who completed certificates over the past year and crowned its 2025 Sunshine Award recipient. Sixteen new photos were added to the event records.
