Whitfield's Creole and Soul Food has opened its doors at 911 E. Market St. The new restaurant was celebrated during its grand opening, which was attended by Business Retention, Expansion & Attraction Manager Darnell Moses. The menu features po' boys, custom gumbos, catfish nuggets, fried okra and additional items. Whitfield's Creole and Soul Food is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
