The Akron-Summit Library in Akron, Ohio, will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture on Sunday, January 18. The event will feature Jelani Cobb, the Columbia Journalism School Dean and a Peabody Award–winning journalist. He is known for his insights on race, justice, and American democracy.

Following the lecture, a book signing for Cobb’s work, "Three or More Is a Riot," is scheduled at 3:45 p.m. Copies of the book will be available for purchase while supplies last through the Friends of Main Library. The lecture will be moderated by Cleveland broadcasting icon Leon Bibb.
