Plans are in place to fly the Beacon Journal Christmas airship over Akron on Saturday and Sunday nights. The airship will display a "Merry Christmas" illumination. In addition, another flight will feature Christmas carols played over Sun Radio, Inc.'s public address system. The flights were arranged by the Beacon Journal, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., and Sun Radio. If weather conditions are adverse, one night's program will be postponed.
