The City of Akron is seeking new members for its Housing Appeals Board. The board’s primary role is to review properties that the Housing Division has recommended for demolition and to review appeals of Environmental Health Housing Code orders. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. in the City Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall. Board members will be compensated for their time, and each appointment is for a three-year term.
