Sky Harbor to reconfigure roadway at 10 p.m. May 10
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will begin a roadway reconfiguration at 10 p.m. Sunday, May 10, as traffic on Buckeye Road or Copperhead Drive bound for eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard will transit onto a newly reconfigured stretch of Sky Harbor Boulevard passing beneath the new taxiway bridge structure.
The newly reconfigured stretch of eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard is located along an active construction zone. Drivers are advised to use caution and follow posted traffic signs.
Eastbound Sky Harbor Boulevard from the I-10 exit will continue along its current alignment while construction progresses.
Terminal access will be maintained at all times.
The Taxiway Uniform project will bridge the north and south airfields on the west end of the airport, allowing for more efficient aircraft flow and streamlined airfield operations.
