Boise Phil hosts second annual Valentine's concert in Nampa
Boise Phil said it had fun bringing its second annual Boise Phil Valentine’s Day Family Concert to Nampa and hoped attendees enjoyed it too.
Swipe through these “Phil the Love” photos to relive the magic, but don’t take our word for it — here is what some parents had to say:
“I greatly appreciate the accommodation of having the lights on, allowance to move, sing, and dance. This helped my nerves with our second child who has autism and sensory processing disorder. Knowing she had the freedom to move around helped us as a family enjoy this event and provide us with assurance we can return free of judgement.”
“I am so deeply appreciative of this opportunity. As a family without outside childcare, being able to experience a condensed concert in an environment where my children could truly be themselves, without the fear of judgment, was a gift. Having the house lights up made a world of difference in their comfort level. As a homeschooling parent, I also want to give immense praise to the conductor! His dedication to educating the audience between pieces was invaluable to my children’s learning. I hope to be able to continue to share music with my children in year to come with more concerts from the Boise Phil.”
