**Historic Oak View to Offer Holiday-Themed Tours Exploring its Rich History**
Wake County Government has announced special holiday-themed tours at Historic Oak View County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The tours will showcase how Christmas was celebrated across different time periods by the diverse families and workers who lived and worked at the site.
The exhibits will take visitors through Oak View’s long history, covering its transformation from a plantation to a site of farm management, sharecropping, and tenant farming. Different holiday displays will feature decorations and traditions from eras ranging from the Antebellum period to World War II.
Guided tours will provide insights into the evolution of holiday celebrations during these periods. For those unable to attend a guided session, self-guided tours will be available on mobile devices starting December 4th. Visitors can explore the park at their convenience during operating hours.
